You need to see what he's talking about Matthew. Awareness of your surroundings must be achieved if you want to be successful at being "invisible". Because you might not be aware, but the animals sure are. Which is why you don't see many of them. They know that something is there, or out of place. You need to study your surroundings until you can instinctively move throughout the world, noticing every detail you can.
That (I believe) is what he meant by all of those questions, because that is how I've learned my tracking and camoflauge techniques, through noticing certain things in the area.
And even if it doesn't help you in being "invisible" being aware is always a usefull skill!
