Celebrating Wildflowers - The
"Celebrating Wildflowers" web site now features more than 90
wildflower illustrations from national parks. Botanical illustrator Donald
Davidson created over 200 individual watercolors of wildflowers while serving as
a VIP traveling artist over the last three years. His works also include trees,
shrubs, and grasses.

groups. Each entry includes Latin and common name, Native American group,

- Brings together data from a variety of good plant databases on over 50,000
taxa and 48,000 cultivars. Searchable by common or botanical name. Includes

- Database from the Alternative Medicine Foundation with information on over
100 medicinal plants. Coverage includes evidence of activity (from case
studies/clinical trials), warnings, preparations, mixtures, mechanisms for

- Includes occurrence data for over 8000 vascular plants of California.
Indexed by common and scientific name. Search can be limited by county,
lifeform, elevation, community and rare/native status. Image database
includes over 20,000 images and is searchable by a variety of fields

Duke’s Phytochemical and Ethnobotanical Databases - Includes five
separate databases: Ecosys--plant ecological ranges, EthnobotDB--worldwide
plant uses, FoodplantDB--Native American food plants, MPNADB--medicinal

to Medicinal and Aromatic Plants - A collection of several databases
from Purdue University Center for New Crops and Plant Products. Plant/Crop
