The Gift of Cycles

Creator of the North, who brings the white blanket of snow to cover Mother Earth for her rest and renewal. Give us the strength to withstand the chill but remind us to be forever grateful for Mother Earth in her sleep.

Creator of the East, the place of the rising sun, who holds in you right hand the years of our life and in your left hand the opportunity of each day. Remind us each day to use our gifts in a good way.

Creator of the South, whose warm wind melts the cold around our hearts and dissolves our fears so we may always kindle our flame of love. Remind us to have courage and compassion, for all who are truly strong are also kind.

Creator of the West, the place of the setting sun and the one that teaches us gratitude throughout the day. Remind us to know that the end of the day is equal to the beginning.

Creator of the Above, and the place of countless sparkling stars of every season. Remind us of the beauty and strength beyond our knowing, but forever waiting for our words.

Creator of Mother Earth, the strength beneath our feet and the storehouse of forever bounty. Remind us to give many Nya-weh’s for your constant sharing and caring.

Creator self, remind us to be always grateful for your gift of life and always respectful of this priceless way of life.
