Fire Piston

Another fire piston, this one finely crafted. I don't recall who made this one.

There are several techniques to using a fire piston. One can hold the cylinder upright and pound the plunger down into the cylinder. Alternatively one can hold the unit "upside down" and force the plunger up into the cylinder. And thirdly, some units require that you hold the cylinder against some solid surface while operating the plunger.

Here is the technique whereby the plunger is pushed up into the cylinder.
