Wilderness Mind

by Allan "bow" Beauchamp

Sometimes when you are low to the ground and turn around, you never know who comes to watch the training you're doing...

Sometimes when you are down seeing the Earth's changes, you see many things!

A great spot to stop for the day.

A nice view, a peaceful setting, the sound of rushing water, a deep blue sky.

One day I was scouting in the bush for bears.
And I rounded a corner and there was this man and hi wife. They were from Switzerland.
They were on their honeymoon, and wanted to go to the bush. They took a map, stopped at this spot, and there I was as I rounded a corner. Just like that we met.

So I said ,"where did you come from?". They said Switzerland, and we thought here was a good place in the bush to come!

I couldn't believe it, at first. Then they told me they wanted to go into the bush but don't know where to go, but were at that spot, anyways. So I asked, "would you like to go for a walk with me?"
So, they did, as I scouted for bears.
We went that day, and we had fun.

Then, I get a call another day, "bow can you take us out?"
So , off we went again,
Now, I have some great friends from Switzerland!

To end off our day my friends from Switzerland and I ended up here, to loaf before we went home. We are just sitting, enjoying the sound of the rushing water.

A great spot, but in the bush there are so many great spots!!

Here is another pic of the couple from Switzerland.
Once we got in the bush a ways, they were engulfed in its beauty. And the trip was enjoyable!

It is important to take the time to slow down, stop, and look around. Sit a while somewhere and get to know what's around you.
