Agave Root

Picture shows an Agave root being prepared for eating.

The raw root is supposed to be caustic - so one needs to be careful when handling it.

A root this size needs to cook for a couple of days in a fire pit.

Once cooked it is actually a little sweet and quite tasty.

Note the size!
