A fairly decent water filter can be made from a roll of birch
bark and various other materials such as grasses, sand, and
charcoal. Please keep in mind that this type of water filter is
for emergency use only, as it cannot filter out all bacteria,
chemicals and viruses, as well as probably not catching giardia. |
